Bridges usually go right over water – they don’t even touch the surface. Surprisingly, if you submerge the vast majority of the structure under water, allowing pedestrians to effectively travel between the waves, it makes the whole experience of using a bridge much more exciting. Moses may have thought of it but it’s taken about 3,000 years for us to catch up, all thanks to Dutch architects Ro & Ad.

Canadian photographer Nancy Rose has combined her love of squirrels and photography with her backyard squirrels’ insatiable appetite for peanuts to create an awesome ongoing series of photographs depicting the cute little critters in all sorts of adorable scenes.
In order to capture the squirrels doing things like grilling hot dogs, checking the mail, taking a shower, and doing laundry, Nancy sets up tiny props, sometimes entire little sets, around which she hides peanuts for the squirrels to find. While the squirrels mess about her sets and props looking for the nuts, Nancy patiently waits for just the right moment the get the shots she wants. Even though the squirrels are all woefully naked, the resulting photos are absolutely delightful.
